POSITION: ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
An exciting opportunity exists as an Associate Consultant.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide a supporting role to the Principal Consultants:
Administration
Section14’s transferee & transferor
Rules & Rule amendments for umbrella funds, private funds
Agendas
Minutes
Medicals
New client take on
Be the link between the client, the administrator, the insurer/ underwriter
Preparation of risk benefits rebroke
Complete documentation for the take-on of new funds
Send rules & amendments to the Financial Services Board
Distribute annual benefit statements to members

QUALIFICATIONS:
Matric Certificate
Matric and NQF 5 (in Financial Services)

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Logical approach
Good verbal and written communication skills (Eng and Afr)
Articulate presentatio
Professional
Organised and forward thinker
Client service orientated
Attention to detail/accuracy
Assertive
Problem solving
Time management skills
Proactive – uses initiative (Self-starter - able to self-motivate)
Must be able to work independently and under pressure
Strong work ethic

TECHNOLOGY:
Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Have a minimum of 3 - 5 years Employee Benefits experience.

REMUNERATION:
Market related
