POSITION: ADMINISTRATOR – FUND ADMINISTRATION

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Full scope retirement fund administration.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
Processing claims (withdrawal, retirement, divorce, death, funeral, disability, dread disease)
Preparing investment & disinvestment documents
Processing month-ends and resolving exception reports
Application of S13A processes
Processing investment mandate switches
Processing Section 14 transfers
Processing individual transfers
Producing management / trustee reports
Updating member data
Preparing benefit statement documents & checking samples
Audit data preparation
Resolution of member queries
Fund maintenance
Running pensioner payroll where applicable
Call centre functions where applicable
General queries and adhoc tasks as requested

QUALIFICATIONS
Matric, with Mathematics and Accounting
Industry related qualification (COP / Programme in Retirement Fund Management / Business related degree or recognition of prior learning)

SKILLS REQUIRED
Client service orientated
A thorough knowledge of the Pension Funds and Income Tax Acts, PF Circulars, Regulations, Directives and Notices
Understanding of Adjudicator determinations
A high level of accuracy with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Strong work ethic

TECHNOLOGY
Computer literate (outlook, word, excel)

WORKING EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years EB experience inclusive of exposure to MIC / unitized funds

REMUNERATION
A total cost to company market related salary structure including benefits are offered
